Meet the Brand: Jaco Bricks

As the countdown to Futurebuild Australia 2026 begins, we’re spotlighting exhibitor Jaco Bricks. Jaco Bricks brings the prestige of German engineering to the Australian landscape, specialising in premium architectural clinker bricks. Known for their exceptional durability and distinct aesthetic, their collection is anchored by traditional waterstruck bricks, elegant long-format units, and versatile clinker slips designed for modern construction. Read on to discover their current design trends, and what you can expect to find at their stand.

Can you give us a brief introduction to your brand?

Jaco Bricks supplies premium architectural clinker bricks manufactured in Germany. Our range centres on traditional waterstruck bricks, long-format units, and clinker slips for modern construction methods.
We work closely with architects and builders to deliver bespoke outcomes, including made-to-order colours, formats, and finishes suited to high-end residential and commercial projects.

What differentiates your brand from other competitors in the market?

Our bricks are fired in a traditional ring kiln at very high temperatures over extended periods, producing a dense, durable, and low-porosity clinker. This process creates natural variation—burns, folds, and surface texture—that cannot be replicated with standard pressed bricks.
We also offer an unusually broad design range, with hundreds of colour and format variations, and the ability to manufacture custom bricks to suit specific architectural intent. For many projects, we can also supply formats that allow two usable faces per brick, improving efficiency in cladding and precast applications.

Are there any exciting trends that you are seeing in the world of design this year?

There is a clear shift away from flat, uniform finishes toward materials with depth and variation. Architects are increasingly specifying textured, elongated brick formats to introduce scale and character to façades.
We are also seeing strong demand for refined colour palettes—particularly whites, off-whites, and deep charcoals—often paired with mortar tones that closely match the brick to create a more monolithic, cohesive appearance.

What can our visitors expect to see and experience on your stand at Futurebuild Australia 2026? Any new launches?

We will be showcasing our latest 490mm long-format waterstruck brick, which delivers a distinctive horizontal emphasis and strong surface texture.
We are also introducing a new “super white” clinker—one of the lightest tones in our range—being presented publicly for the first time at the show. These bricks are being airfreighted directly from Germany, so the exhibition will be their debut for both visitors and our Australian team.

What are you looking forward to the most at Futurebuild Australia 2026?

Sydney is an important and growing market for us, particularly within the architectural community. The show provides an opportunity to introduce our range to specifiers who may not yet be familiar with what clinker bricks can offer in terms of texture, durability, and design flexibility.
We are looking forward to having detailed conversations with architects and builders about how our products can be applied to upcoming projects.
