Founder and Director of Earthy Haus, Karina is a passionate designer who is dedicated to creating homes that are not only beautiful but also healthy and environmentally responsible.

With over 12 years of experience in the Australian building industry and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Urbanism, Karina brings an incredible depth of knowledge and expertise to every project she undertakes.

Karina’s journey has taken her across Switzerland, Brazil, Germany, and Australia, giving her a unique and global perspective on design and sustainability. She is a certified Passivhaus designer and an accredited Building Designer by the Building Designers Association of Australia (BDAA #6912).

Throughout her career, Karina has worked with renowned practices such as Envirotecture, Passivhaus Design & Construct, Shelter Building Design, Grove Architects, and Bennett Murada Architects. She’s proud to have been part of teams that have earned numerous sustainability and design awards, fueling her passion for excellence in eco-conscious architecture.

Karina firmly believes that everyone deserves a home that supports their health and fosters a deep connection with the environment. Whether it’s designing a new home or renovating an existing one, her mission is to create spaces that are comfortable, sustainable, beautiful, and tailored to her clients’ unique lifestyle.
